इंदौर। राष्ट्रीय अन्वेषण अभिकरण यानी National Investigation Agency : NIA ने इंदौर से जहिरुल शेख नाम के एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि जहिरुल शेख ने पश्चिम बंगाल में ब्लास्ट किए थे। सूत्रों का कहना है कि वो 15 अगस्त को भी इसी तरह का हिंसक हमला प्लान कर रहा था।
ऐजेंसी के सूत्रों ने बताया कि जहिरुल शेख ने 5 साल पहले पश्चिम बंगाल में बम ब्लास्ट किए थे। तभी से वो फरार चल रहा था। ऐजेंसी को पुख्ता जानकारी मिली कि वो इंदौर में आजाद नगर में रह रहा है। NIA की टीम ने चक्रव्यूह रचकर उसे दबोच लिया। NIA ने धमाके की साजिश में इस्तेमाल नैनो कार भी जब्त कर ली है।
ऐजेंसी सूत्रों का दावा है कि जहिरुल शेख एक आतंकी संगठन के लिए जेहादियों को ट्रेनिंग देता था। इंदौर को उसने अपने छुपने का सुरक्षित ठिकाना बना रखा था। बता दें कि 15 अगस्त स्वतंत्रता दिवस से पहले देश भर की ऐजेंसियों ने देशविरोधी गतिविधियों में शामिल अपराधियों की धरपकड़ अभियान चला रखा है।

Seikh was chargesheeted on 23.07.2015 in the said case for his direct involvement in the conspiracy of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to commit terrorist acts and wage war against Government of India and Bangladesh, u/s 120B, 121A, 122, 123, 307, 326, 286 and 34 of IPC, 3&4 of Explosive Substance Act, Section 16, 18, 18A, 19, 20 of UA(P) Act.
3. Burdhwan Blast Case is related to large scale conspiracy by JMB to radicalize, recruit and provide training in arms and explosives to its members in India to commit terrorist acts and wage war against the democratically established Governments of India and Bangladesh. A large number of IED’s, explosives and handmade grenades were recovered during the investigation of the case in 2014. A total of 33 accused have been chargesheeted in this case.
4. Accused Jahirul Sheikh is a senior leader of JMB Nadia Module in West Bengal. He had attended a number of training camps conducted by JMB and he was also involved in activities of JMB in India to further its cause.
5. Accused was produced before the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Indore, MP on 12.08.2019 for obtaining transit remand for the purpose of producing the said accused before the Spl. NIA Court, Kolkata.

Absconding accused Jahirul Sheikh, R/o Hayeterpara, PS Thanarpara, Distt. Nadia, West Bengal, was arrested by NIA, from Indore on 11.08.2019 in Case No. RC-03/2014/NIA/DLI(Burdwan Blast Case).2.
