Bhopal. ABVP considers that decision taken by Director and College administration to make whole MANIT campus quarantine center should be reviewed. But ABVP doesn’t recognize the breaking the locks of students hostel rooms by college administration as a gesture of responsibility and hence put forth to you, some genuine demands that are being raised by student fraternity of MANIT-Bhopal:-
Instead of making whole MANIT campus as quarantine center, College administration should reconsider to make non-occupied hostels (Hostel No.3 & No.4), New Teaching Block (NTB), less important admin blocs and department buildings as quarantine center.
An assurance from College administration to students that Academic & Placement activities would also commence along with other IIT/NIT colleges of country, as soon as a decision to this effect is being taken by central/state government to reopen about other Educational Institutes/colleges, providing sanitization work of the campus premises.
Director of MANIT-Bhopal and College administration should give written note of responsibility to students that if any harm or damage occurs to the belongings of students all the responsibility and burden should be taken care of by MANIT administration.
The belongings must be returned to their respective owners with proper security measures and the lost or misplaced items must be reimbursed to an equal amount to their owners by college administration.
