Prof. Dr. N. Sridharan,Director SPA Bhopal underlined the need to broaden the scope for research and teaching through such collaborative efforts and said that the MoU paves the way for development of student exchanges, student internships, and new faculty research endeavours between both the Institutions.

School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal was established by the Government of India as an Institute of National importance in the year 2008. SPA is committed to produce best Architects and Planners of the Nation to take up the challenges of physical and socio-environmental development of global standards. SPA teaches a number of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs.
National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) is an Institute of National importance under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. The Institute had commenced academic activities for spreading design education, research, and practice from the Academic Year 2019-2020. NID MP has a beautiful 29.49 acre clean and green campus, with state-of-the-art ambience by the appropriate use of technology and innovation. Current portfolio of academic programs is with Bachelor’s in DesignDegree award in Industrial Design, Textile and Apparel Design and Communication Design with 1-year Common Foundation program.
