Invitation of applications for temporary appointment to the post of Faculty in IIIT Bhopal
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bhopal is an Institution of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. IIIT Bhopal invites applications from eligible candidates for selection to the under mentioned posts for appointment on purely temporary basis. Walk in Interview are being conducted for the following positions as per details given:
(A) Faculty (Computer Science & Engineering)-Post-08: (On temporary basis)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (submitted/ awarded) in Computer Science or an allied area from a reputed institution (preferably from NIRF ranked institute) with a good research record. The candidate should have UG and PG in relevant discipline with first class or a GPA of 6.5 or above on a 10-point scale.
Desirable: A strong research record proven by quality SCI/SCIE/Scopus Indexed Journals/High-impact conference publications.
Emoluments: Up to Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) per month consolidated based on quality publications and performance in interview.
Contract period: 11 months from July/August, 2023.

(B) Faculty (Information Technology)-Post-05 (On temporary basis)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (submitted/ awarded) in Computer Science or Information Technology or an allied area from a reputed institution (preferably from NIRF ranked institute) with a good research record. The candidate should have UG and PG in relevant discipline with first class or a GPA of 6.5 or above on a 10-point scale.
Desirable: A strong research record proven by quality SCI/SCIE/Scopus Indexed Journals/High-impact conference publications.
Emoluments: Up to Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) per month consolidated based on quality publications and performance in interview.
Contract period: 11 months from July/August, 2023.

(C) Faculty (Electronics & Communication Engineering)- No. of Post-05 (On temporary basis)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (submitted/ awarded) in Electronics & Communication Engineering or an allied area from a reputed institution (preferably from NIRF ranked institute) with a good research record. The candidate should have UG and PG in relevant discipline with first class or a GPA of 6.5 or above on a 10-point scale.
Desirable: A strong research record proven by quality SCI/SCIE/Scopus Indexed Journals/High-impact conference publications.
Emoluments: Up to Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) per month consolidated based on quality publications and performance in interview.

(D) Faculty (Physics)-Post-01: (On temporary basis)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics from reputed University/Institution with a good research record. B.Sc. with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10-point scale and M.Sc. (Physics) with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10-point scale
Desirable: A strong research record proven by quality SCI/SCIE/Scopus Indexed Journals/High- impact conference publications.
Emoluments: Up to Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) per month consolidated based on quality publications and performance in interview.
Contract period: 11 months from July/August, 2023.

(E) Faculty (Mathematics)-Post-01: (On temporary basis)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Mathematics from reputed University/Institution with a good research record. B.Sc. with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10-point scale and M.Sc. (Mathematics) with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10-point scale
Desirable: Quality publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus Index Journals.
Emoluments: Up to Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) per month consolidated based on quality publications and performance in interview.
Contract period: 11 months from July/August, 2023.
Interview Date: 30.06.2023 at IIIT Committee Room, New Teaching Block, MANIT Campus Bhopal- 462003.
Notes:
1. Candidates must bring hard copy of filled in application on the format given along with photo copies of Testimonials/Certificates/Degrees. Application not in the prescribed format shall not be entertained.
2. Candidates attending the Interview must bring all originals Certificates and one set of photo copy of all testimonials for verification at the time of Interview.
3. Time of reporting 9.00 A.M. on Interview Date.
4. Decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding in the matter of selection.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
6. Preference will be given to experienced/Retired professors from the reputed Institutes.
7. A mere fulfilling/meeting minimum eligibility criterion does not qualify a candidate to be called for interview.
8. Even if a candidate satisfies the minimum requirement, he/she may not be short-listed for further evaluation if he/she does not have a PhD from a premier institute and a good research record proven by publications in high-impact conferences and journals.
